If you’re headed to Tiong Bahru for a day out with the kids, make sure you familiarise yourself with the locations to these play spaces. It will allow you to stay that much longer in the hood!
If you are unfamiliar with the neighbourhood, get to know it better with a self tour and stop by the heritage signposts to learn more about its history. Do also a keep look out for the murals lovingly painted around the estate.
Most shops of interest are mainly located along Eng Hoon Street and Yong Siak Street, but if you come in the morning or afternoon, then be sure to also check out Tiong Bahru Market as well. It is a local food centre where you will find fabulous local delights, that includes 2 food stalls named in 2016 Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand.
